In October 2025 I left Collecting Cars to try something new.
Four months later, I’m back.
The other role didn’t land how I’d hoped, and in that time I realised how much I missed what we have here: the team, the platform, and yes, the cars.
I’ve rejoined as Head of Engineering. Thank you to Edward Lovett , David Edmonston , and George Young for trusting me with a second chance. I’m grateful, and I’m here to do the work.
My remit is to help us increase the impact of AI in engineering in a consistent and secure way. That means coaching, guidance, and guardrails, with privacy and security, and outcomes measured. Building faster only matters if we’re building the right things.
The biggest practical focus is our engineering process. Delivery is speeding up, which is shifting the bottlenecks towards testing, reviewing, and how we share knowledge as a team. I want us to keep the quality bar high while moving with more flow. More jamming sessions, more greenfield and brownfield prototypes, and more of what we already do well: having each other’s backs.
I’m excited, curious, and happy to be back with the team.
